Euro Coin Errors - Rotated Die

It is difficult to prove the existance of a rotated die euro coin with some images. You will only find rotated die images in this overview if it can "proved" somehow. Otherwise I list the ones that are reported/known to me on this page.

Rotated die circulation euro coins up to 10 degrees are not that unique. Bigger rotations are rare, because normally a loose die will be noticed quickly. Strange and less common however are rotated dies in BU Euro Coin Sets. I found a few. The BU quality coins are struck in lower speed so deviations in the production proces are normally noticed quicker compared to the circulation coin production proces.
